We offer in-house shipping for most items that we offer at auction. Please note that no item is insured by default — contact us to add insurance to your invoice.
How it works
- Pre-sale — generate a tailor-made shipping quote for each lot based on your delivery location, from the shipping tab below every active lot.
- Post-sale — if a shipping cost has been pre-allocated, you can view it on your invoice in the ‘My Account’ section once you have signed in.
- Add to invoice — click the shipping icon on your invoice to add the cost to your invoice total.
If you are purchasing multiple lots, our shipping service automatically combines the shipping costs to keep the charges to a minimum.
Van delivery & larger items
If shipping is unavailable for your invoice, this is likely due to the size and fragility of the item. For items we are unable to quote for (typically large items such as furniture), we can recommend trusted antique couriers across the UK — please contact us for details.

CITES and firearms licences
Certain items may incorporate materials subject to CITES regulations, which may restrict or control their export; such lots are marked with a † symbol. Where required, we are able to arrange a CITES export permit on the purchaser’s behalf at a cost of £150 + VAT. It remains the purchaser’s responsibility to comply with the import regulations of their own country prior to bidding. Certain items may also require a valid firearms licence or permit for ownership, import or export; firearms will not be released without production of the necessary certificates.
